Open the box. Recently, the epidemic situation has eased slightly, and the author has also made an appointment with a master who can install it at home. Today, I would like to supplement the experience of installing and using this product.
Installation part:

The installation service of smart door locks is supported by Jiangyun Technology, which can be installed at home for free in most parts of the country. Since I have installed other smart door locks before and paid attention to the WeChat WeChat official account of Jiangyun Technology, after the appointment, WeChat official account sent me a "work order reminder", and it didn’t take long for the master to call me to confirm the door-to-door time. In addition, he also asked me to take photos of the door body in advance and provide them to him, so that he could confirm in advance what tools he needed to bring to the door.
At the appointed time, the master came to the door on time. Because my family used wooden doors before, the master needed to re-punch holes according to the size of the new locks, and asked my permission in advance. During the installation process, the master was basically busy alone, and various professional installation tools were used, so I couldn’t help much.
In about an hour, the master completed the whole installation process. After the installation, the master instructed me to complete the settings of APP, fingerprint, password, etc. In addition, he introduced the use of keys and let me test various functions myself. Although these are very basic questions for me, if the users who need to install smart door locks are elderly people, the detailed guidance of engineers is still very valuable.
The whole installation process is still very user-friendly. Different from other digital products, people who want to install smart door locks basically need door-to-door service, and the quality of service is likely to affect the evaluation of products by product users. At present,

Use part:
Aqara smart door lock N200 can be directly connected to Mijia APP, and smart door locks can be added to the APP through simple settings.
This smart door lock supports a variety of convenient unlocking methods, such as fingerprint, password, temporary password, Bluetooth, NFC, mobile phone, HomeKit and so on.
(1) Fingerprint unlocking
In the Mijia APP, enter the smart door lock page and perform the "Add Fingerprint" operation to quickly enter fingerprints. Aqara intelligent door lock N200 adopts 3D.
Semiconductor fingerprint identification, in addition to collecting fingerprint lines and detailed features of human body, can also identify the dielectric generated by blood flow and temperature in dermis to improve the recognition rate. For some users whose fingers are easy to break, this function will definitely improve the product experience. In my experience in a few days, this smart door lock has a good performance in fingerprint recognition rate and recognition speed.

(2) Password unlocking

A virtual password to prevent peeping, as long as there is a continuous correct password in the input number, you can identify the correct unlock.
If you leave home for a long time, in order to ensure safety, you can also turn on the double verification function, and you need to verify your fingerprint and password at the same time when you enter the house.
(3) Intelligent scenes
Aqara intelligent door lock N200 can also be connected to HomeKit at the same time, or can be unlocked directly through HomeKit. At the same time, through simultaneous access to Mijia Ecology and Apple
HomeKit ecology enriches the equipment linkage in different ecological environments.
I don’t have many eco-accessories in my home. Here, let’s take the "home" scene set in HomeKit as an example. After I execute the "home" scene, I have bound Aqara smart door locks.
N200 will unlock and the Mijia bedside lamp in HomeKit will be turned on at the same time.
In contrast, there are more devices that can support linkage in the author’s home, Mijia. I can set "outdoor door opening" to perform various intelligent scenes such as turning on lights, turning on air conditioners, playing music, and turning off monitoring.

The design of intelligent lock core and lock body is adopted, and there are many intelligent conditions in relevant intelligent scenes, which can maximize the availability and recording of intelligent and safety scenes of products, such as "the door is broken", "the door is not closed properly", "someone has picked the lock or failed to pull out the key" and "failed verification for many times", and corresponding automatic alarm scenes can be set to maximize the improvement of safety.

If you want to open the protection mode after going out, you can directly click the "protection button" on the front door lock, and all kinds of intelligent ecological hardware in the room will open the protection mode according to the corresponding scene design.
(4) Other unlocking methods
This smart door lock also supports Bluetooth unlocking. In addition, if there is a mi band 4 NFC version or other Xiaomi mobile phone with NFC function, it can also be unlocked directly through NFC function.
In addition, you can also use two emergency mechanical keys together with the lock core to unlock the lock, in case the lock can’t be unlocked directly without power. Of course, through the hidden Type-C at the bottom of the front panel.
It is also no problem that the emergency power supply interface provides temporary power supply to open the door. However, this kind of scene is also rare in general. The Aqara smart door lock N200 has eight 5th batteries built in, and the official battery life is about 550.
Days, the battery will need to be replaced at least once a year. Before the battery needs to be replaced, the door lock will also prompt the low battery to replace the battery through the APP.
However, when the master came to the door, he specially reminded me that it is best not to put the two mechanical keys at home, but to put them in the office or at the home of relatives and friends, so as to avoid the need to use the mechanical keys to open the door in an unexpected situation and find that the keys are locked at home.
(5) Bring your own doorbell.
The author thinks that another humanized function of this smart door lock is its own doorbell. The doorbell and the door lock are directly designed together, which also supports scene linkage. If you ring the doorbell outside the door, you can set up devices such as Xiaoai classmates to respond synchronously, so as to avoid the situation that sometimes people can’t hear the doorbell outside indoors. However, I think it will be better if the locked doorbell can be made into physical buttons or marked more obviously. At present, the doorbell buttons are hidden under the black panel like the digital buttons. It is difficult for people who don’t know this smart door lock to know that there are doorbell buttons there.

The author believes that there are several reasons for choosing smart door locks:
(1) I hope to experience the smart home scene linkage brought by smart locks and solve the pain points that traditional locks can’t meet. Aqara intelligent door lock N200 supports both Mijia and HomeKit.
